Arka Nehar Trichoderma is a powder form of organic bio-pesticide for soil borne diseases caused by fungi. Trichoderma harzianumformulated on inert carrier with a balanced formula.

Mode of Action
Trichoderma have been developed as biocontrol agents against fungal diseases of plants. The various mechanisms of action include antibiosis, parasitism, inducing host-plant resistance, and competition. Most biocontrol agents are from the species T. harzianum and T. viride. The biocontrol agent generally grows in its natural habitat on the root surface, and so affects root disease in particular, but can also be effective against foliar diseases.

Dose and Method of Application
Enrichment of compost: Mix 2 kg/500 kg vermicompost or 10 kg/2 tons of FYM & allow for incubation under shade @ 8-10% moisture for 15 days.

Soil application
Field crops: Apply enriched compost uniformly 1 week before sowing or transplanting
Plantation & orchards: Apply enriched FYM @ 5 kg/plant during planting & 2 kg/plant once in 6 months.
Drenching: 5 g/l
Seed treatment: 20 g/kg
