What is ARKA NEHAR PAECILOMYCES?
Arka Nehar Paecilomyces is a powder form of organic bio-pesticide for nematode management formulated with Paecilomyces lilacinus in an inert material.

Mode of Action
Paecilomyceslilacinusis strongly parasitic to all stages of development of common plant infecting nematodes, specially the eggs. Spores of the fungus also adhere to the cuticle of vermiform stage of nematodes as they migrate through the soil. The spores germinate and penetrate the cuticle and engulf the nematodes. The hyphae of the fungus can also be entering the eggs, Juvenils, male, female nematodes through body openings such as anus and vulva. The developing fungus kills the nematodes by feeding on its body contents. The fungus act as a parasite on the nematodes.

• It is a talc-based formulation of nematophagous fungus, Paecilomyceslilacinus capable of parasitizing nematode eggs, juveniles and females in the soil.

Dose and Method of Application
Enrichment of compost: Mix 2 kg of ArkaNeharPaecilomycesin 500 kg of vermicom- post or 10 kg/ 2 tons kg FYM & allow for incubation under shade for 15 days at 8 % moisture.
Soil application:
Field crops: Apply enriched compost uniformly one week before sowing or transplanting. Plantation & orchards: Apply enriched FYM at 5 kg/plant during planting & 2 kg/plant once in every 6 months.
Drenching: 5 g/l
Seed treatment: 10 - 20 g/kg seed.
